The new Ball valve design is the result of Cepex’s 30 years of experience and knowhow in thermoplastic piping systems Developed with the following principles in mind Highest quality Long term reliability Safety in operation Ergonomy Environment friendly Ideally suited for water treatment applications or irrigation systems New range of ball valves in its [STD] Series, available in PVC-U (handle in PP + TPE, HDPE or PTFE seats, EPDM or food grade EPDM sealing). Sizes from D20 up to D110 (½” to 4”). The valve represents a major step forward both for its design and new features, offering the following Thermoplastic material. Heavy duty construction and corrosion free. High impact and chemical resistance. Stands up to the most demanding applications. Light weight. Easy to install and offering reduced handling, labor, freight and installation costs. Pressure rating: PN 16 (240 psi) D20 (½”) – D63 (2”) PN 10 (150 psi) D75 (2½”) – D110 (4”) Excellent mechanical and environmental strength. Threaded seal carrier for upstream maintenance without emptying the system. “Antiblock” system that avoids ball blockage. Ergonomic operator-friendly handle made of high resistance PP & soft rubber anti-slide surface for better grip and safer operation. Handle built-in tool for easy adjustment of the threaded seal-carrier (and ball torque). Union ends for easy installation and removal. Available standards: metric, British Standard, ASTM, JIS and threaded versions: BSP and NPT.
