FRESH DESIGN HORIZONS FOR THE CONTEMPORARY KITCHEN Foodshelf is the innovative response to contemporary home design solutions in which the kitchen and living area become more "fluid" and multifunctional and their characteristics tend to merge. Like a latest-generation bookshelf, the Foodshelf kitchen - in which the French designer’s creativity of genius and Scavolini’s vast experience combine to perfection - features a "new horizontal linearity". It is centred on a series of woodlook shelves that run the entire length of the kitchen and living area, acquiring different functions in the various points (worktop, strip underneath the base units, or as shelves fitted below and above the wall units.) This design concept also allows base and wall units of different colours to be combined, subdividing the kitchen into "graphic" blocks while retaining its modular structure. For creating innovative compositions, with unusual, attractive chromatic and architectural effects every time. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES WALNUT VENEERS AND STAINED LOOK LACQUERS For those who pursuit of a unique style, three interesting Walnut veneers for the Mood and LiberaMente kitchens and four attractive stained Lacquered shades for the models of the Mood, LiberaMente, Foodshelf and Motus lines. Clean-cut and contemporary look The undisputed stars of the show are the materials: Tussah Walnut with its elegant vertical grain for the large cabinets, Malé White Fenix NTM for the island worktop and base units, and slatted Nabuk Oak for the breakfast bench top, with the new adjustable Slender support. Clean lines are also the distinguishing feature of the “Fluida” wall system, with 22 mm thick Tussah Walnut finished doors; the same finish is also applied to the wall claddings, for a truly eye-catching ensemble. A SOPHISTICATED COMBINATION The surfaces perfectly integrate with one another, and lie at the heart of the domestic activities and of the living area. The central island, which stands out for its ultra thick (18.5 cm) Extra White porcelain stoneware worktop, stretches into a table-height worktop made of the same material. The natural appeal of Saxony Walnut in the cabinets blends with the aged effect of stained look lacquered doors in Stained Aluminium colour of the island base units, in a perfect marriage of contemporary with tradition. The “Fluida” wall system with an Iron Grey finish frames the entire setting with a sculptural feel. ATTRACTIVE DESIGN The stained look lacquered finish in Stained Brass colour stands out on the tall units fitted with vertical and horizontal handles. Dark contrasting tones mark the island, with Saxony Walnut doors, as well as the worktop and table-height top, the plinth and the Hold Up support. The Hold Up support teamed with the table-height top in Amadeus Nat porcelain stoneware finish blends in seamlessly with the clean-cut look of the entire furnishing project and lends the room a touch of class, thanks also to the colour black, which enhances the value of all the materials in the setting. HIGHLY AFFECT A highly effective scenic presence is provided by the twin island that marks both the cooking zone and the washing zone, which is integrated into the Pulpis Nat porcelain stoneware worktop. The work zones are inter-connected by the slatted Nabuk Oak breakfast bench. To provide elegant and functional furnishings for this generously-sized setting, why not equip the wall cladding in Gull Grey laminate with accessory hanging rails and Ulster Walnut shelves (4 cm thick), for a stylish and scenic solution. A TRENDY COLOUR Stained look lacquered doors in Stained Steel for the island and cabinets, Light Grey matt lacquered doors for the work area and open-fronted tall units, stainless steel for worktops. A colour contrast is created by the Ebony Lapitec worktops in Vesuvio finish and by the Vintage Oak breakfast bench. A touch of class to point out the storage compartments inside the Switch cupboard can be equipped with a back panel in the same finish as the door, to match the internal equipment. SOPHISTICATED AND SEDUCTIVE For a warm and appealing setting that recalls luxurious and elegant atmospheres: a Porcelain Cream matt lacquered fi nish for the cooking block base units and for the generous cabinets, combined with the stained look lacquered island base units in Stained Copper colour. To organise the room rationally and offer an interesting decorative element for large settings, the pantry cupboard adds a functional and personal touch. A level of comfort that has been borrowed from professional kitchens the stainless steel worktop, a reliable and robust surface proposed for the cooking and washing zones, represents a highly topical design choice.
