PREMIUM EXTERIOR-GRADE MULTI-PLY HOOP PINE PLYWOOD MAXI Hoop Pine Plywood is made up of 1.5mm thick veneers and bonded with Exterior-grade A-Bond adhesive (Phenolic Glue line), making for a dimensionally stable product that is easy to work with and is suitable for applications involving long term exposure to Australia’s harsh environment without fear of delamination. Hoop Pine Plywood is ideal for general construction purposes, flooring, joinery, shelving, cupboards and furniture. It is also used for a variety of non-architectural and non-building purposes, such as the manufacture of musical instruments, drafting instruments and brush ware. Hoop Pine Plywood has great bending strength, impact resistance and surface finishing characteristics, and provides an excellent substrate for high quality exterior paint. Exterior Hoop Pine A/C grade is a high grade plywood suitable for semi-exposed applications, and is manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 2271. Full exposed applications such as wall cladding is not recommended, but this clean-faced plywood is especially popular in High-end Architectural, shop fitting, Cabinet Making joinery applications and as Wall and Ceiling linings. Hoop Pine (Araucaria Cunninghamii) is a native Australian specie found in Queensland and New South Wales. The colour is generally whitish or light-coloured, the grain is straight and the texture is fine to very fine. The wood weighs about 560kg/m3 when dried (and about 600kg/m3 in plywood form).
