BIOFRESH The fresher the products are, the greater is their value for a healthy diet. The BioFresh safes mounted on telescopic rails ensure the perfect climate for keeping food fresh longer. With the temperature maintained just above 0 °C and an ideal air humidity level, fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products retain their healthy vitamins, delicate flavour and attractive appearance for up to three times longer than in a traditional refrigerator. DRAWERS MOUNTED ON TELESCOPIC RAILS The drawers extend on smooth-running telescopic rails and can be conveniently removed at a door opening angle of 90°. PREMIUM ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM The elegant Premium electronic control system ensures accurate compliance with the temperature selected. The electronic control system is placed in or behind the door or in the front housing, depending on the appliance type. The freestanding appliances also come with the innovative Touch feature. All the functions can be simply and conveniently operated by touching the touch control panel. POWERCOOLING SYSTEM The high-performance PowerCooling system rapidly cools down freshly stored food and creates an even cooling temperature throughout the interior. A door contact switch turns the fan off when the door is opened.This saves valuable energy. 4-STAR FREEZER COMPARTMENT Fresh food can be frozen and kept in long-term storage in the 4-star freezer compartment. Temperatures of -18 °C and lower ensure that food is stored with all the vitamins and minerals preserved. GLASSLINE INTERIOR The sophisticated GlassLine safety glass equipment puts the finishing touches to the overall impression of high quality conveyed by the interior. The elegant GlassLine storage shelves are shatter-proof, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. The high-quality stainless steel trims put the finishing touches to the overall design composition. The slide under half shelf option glass shelf lends itself to versatile use. HUMIDITY CONTROL DRYSAFE/HYDROSAFE The humidity control plates allow the air humidity to be set individually in the BioFresh compartments. The DrySafe in the BioFresh compartment with low humidity is ideal for storing meat, fish and dairy products. Fruit and vegetables are best kept unwrapped in the filled BioFresh HydroSafe at a humidity level of up to 90 %. AUTOMATIC SUPERFROST FUNCTION The automatic SuperFrost function makes freezing simple and saves energy. It quickly reduces the temperature to -32 °C and thus creates the cold air required to preserve vital vitamins. As soon as the food is completely frozen, the automatic SuperFrost function switches back to normal mode after max. 65 hours, and thus assists in saving electricity. SUPERCOOL The automatic SuperCool function lowers the refrigerator temperature down to as far as +2 °C for as long as 12 hours - ideal for rapidly cooling freshly stored food. DOOR ALARM The audible door alarm alerts the user if the door has been open for longer than 60 seconds for safe protection of the food. CHILD LOCK The child lock is programmed so as to prevent the appliance being inadvertently switched off.A symbol in the MagicEye indicates when the child lock is switched on. SLIMLINE DOOR HANDLE WITH INTEGRATED OPENING MECHANISM The practical door handles with integrated opening mechanism ensure that the appliance doors can be opened with a minimum of effort. This is the case even if they are opened several times in rapid succession, thanks to the handle mechanism that assists in pushing the door from the appliance housing. REVERSIBLE DOOR HINGES The appliances are factory fitted with door hinges on the right. The reversible door hinges permit optimum use of the appliance wherever it is located. SWINGLINE-DESIGN Nearly all the refrigerators and freezers feature a design with elegant side-edge relief. The embossed Liebherr logo on the door puts the fi nishing touch to the timeless elegance of the SwingLine design. HOMEDIALOG The HomeDialog system allows an appliance situated in the basement, for instance, to be controlled using the display of a combined appliance with a PremiumPlus electronic control system. The connected appliances are indicated in the display of this combined appliance (master appliance) and can thus be conveniently operated and controlled. Temperature alarms, door alarms or power failure of the external appliance (slave appliance) are displayed on the master appliance. All the functions of the networked appliance, such as setting the temperature or SuperFrost mode, can be operated by way of the display of the master appliance.Liebherr appliances with networking capability include wine, freezer and refrigerator appliances and combined fridge-freezers. As many as six further Liebherr appliances can be optionally networked using only the PLC home bus module available as an accessory. For communication purposes, the appliances have to be interconnected by the same mains power cable. Time-consuming cable routing is not required. Many further models are HomeDialog-ready and can be retrofitted using the retrofit kit and home bus module.
