The armchair also provides an illusion of lightness and airiness to your space with its rounded cigar-shaped legs and invites you in with its restful recline. Its strikingly sleek wooden frame takes after the iconic designs meticulously crafted by Danish cabinet makers in the early 60s but takes it further with a harmonious blend of organic forms uncluttered symmetry and low but comfortable cushioning. Thanks to its simple design this Scandinavian classic combines elements of Japanese Zen designs and can be used in a variety of settings from formal living rooms to more casual family rooms. Shown here is the Aarhus Lounge Chair in Gir Ivory Fabric & Natural Finish. FEATURES Hand-carved solid hardwood frame. Low seating height for a grounded more restful feel. Tapered hexagonal front and back legs. Generously padded upholstered seat. Additional back cushion provided for added comfort and backrest to the design. The wood features variations inherent to salvaged materials such as a rustic distressed finish hairline cracks and oil stains which may result in hue variations rubbed edges or other antique-like characteristics.
