Description

Badminton is a sport played between two players (singles) or between two teams of two players each (doubles). The court is rectangular and divided into two halves by a net. Courts are almost always marked for both singles and doubles play, although the laws permit a court to be marked for singles play only. The doubles court is wider than the singles court, but both have the same length.The exception, which often causes confusion to newer players, is the doubles court has a shorter serve‐length dimension. WOODEN FLOORING After completion of the civil construction, we undertake to lay out the Sundek Air Cush Wooden Flooring system wherein we use kiln dried imported Oak, Teak, Maple or Beech wood surface board and the base frame of imported Fir, Spruce or Pine wood. After installation, the floor is machine sanded in uniform level and finished with imported non‐skid DIN certified polyurethane lacquer. SYNTHETIC FLOORING Preparation of strong and reliable base is a must for the construction of a synthetic hard court. The Poly win synthetic material can be applied on asphalt or concrete base. The court can be prepared in different cushion thicknesses depending on level of players and budget. We also provide chain link fencing, lighting and storm water system in the court. VINYL FLOORING Vinyl flooring products provide an attractive alternative to expensive wood flooring systems in gymnasiums, exercise rooms and other recreational areas like badminton and table tennis courts. The no‐wax stain‐resistant surfaces of these floors means lower maintenance costs and greater usage than traditional floors. High‐density vinyl foam cushion backing systems provide a shock absorbing surface that reduces impact shock and leg fatigue. The wear layer of vinyl floor is an important element in determining the performance and ease of maintenance. Vinyl flooring is durable and time‐tested, maintaining its beauty under heavy foot traffic and use. It is moisture and stain resistant, so spills can be easily erased. When compared with alternative materials, vinyl floor are available in varied colours and thickness, offers an attractive installed cost with economical maintenance over the life of the floor. Vinyl flooring is tough, resistant to scratching, scuffing, staining, indentation and other daily abuse. This durability is especially critical in commercial settings where routine wear and tear take their toll on floors. Vinyl floors maintain their good looks even in heavy traffic areas. RUBBER FLOORING Sundek Rubber Tiles Flooring is environment friendly, impact absorbing, non-slip and are quiet yet soft in addition to safety, simplicity, cost effectiveness, low/easy maintenance etc., This is manufactured entirely from recycled tyres with assured toughness, impact absorbing, maintenance free surface. Our rubber flooring makes a difference on floors that get the roughest as well as toughest use and also provide sure safe surface which makes it highly desirable in a variety of leisure environment. Basic Colour is black and tiles are available in Red, Green, Blue, Gray, M.Green also. DIMENSION The full width of the court is 6.1 meters (20 ft), and in singles this width is reduced to 5.18 meters (17 ft). The full length of the court is 13.4 meters (44 ft). The service courts are marked by a centre line dividing the width of the court, by a short service line at a distance of 1.98 meters (6.5 ft) from the net, and by the outer side and back boundaries. In doubles, the service court is also marked by a long service line, which is 0.78 meters (2 ft 6 inch) from the back boundary.The net is 1.55 meters (5 ft 1 inch) high at the edges and 1.524 meters (5 ft) high in the centre. The net posts are placed over the doubles side lines, even when singles is played.
