Aristide has been active as an editor/distributor of high quality furniture fabrics and decoration fabrics since 1979, when Aristide Bourguignon founded the company (then called Aritex). In 2008 the company has been handed over to the 2nd generation of the Bourguignon family. In 2012 Pieter-Jan Debusschere joined the crew and he became the new general manager. Aristide has managed to maintain its strong national and international market position by introducing original, contemporary and innovative collections into the market. Aristide is also the exclusive distributor of the latest innovations by WARWICK, SIMTA and CLARKE & CLARKE in the Benelux countries (Clarke & Clarke is also distributed by aristide in Germany). For Belgium, aristide also distributes the FR ONE collection, which is an inherently and permanently flame retardant fabric collection - mainly focused on the contract market. Aristide collections are distributed in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France through our own sales organisation. A distribution network with solid, local partners has been set up in the rest of Europe, as well as America, Australia, Asia, the Middle East and South Africa. Aristide always has a prominent presence at international exhibitions and of course you can also visit the showroom in Kontich (B) throughout the year.
